Mark graduated from Globe University with an AAS in Massage Therapy. He also holds a Masters Degree in Counseling from Liberty University. Mark is trained in CranioSacral and SomatoEmotional Release techniques from the Upledger Institute. He is also a Reiki Master practitioner. Mark recently served as a support therapist at the 83rd Comprehensive Therapy Program in Truth or Consequences New Mexico, an intensive treatment program provided by Integrative Intentions in keeping with the Upledger traditions of healing. Mark has over six years of experience working with clients as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a Cardiac Rehab Technician and a Treatment Provider at the San Antonio State School under the Department of Aging and Disability. He also worked at the Veterans Administration in Madison as program support for the specialty clinics, the suicide prevention team and as a peer support technician for Veterans. Mark served in the United States Army Band as a flutist from 1985-2005. He still plays locally with the Madison Flute Club in Madison WI. While stationed in Japan, Mark studied Tai Chi with Shing Yen Ling at the Sugawara Martial Arts Institute. Her books on Tai Chi and Swordplay are popular in Japan and the United States. He also studied with Gary Stier, a Tai Chi instructor and Acupuncturist now based in Austin, Texas. Mark practices Tai Chi, Qi Gong and meditation techniques to further his personal development and to increase sensitivity for energetic work. Mark has a wide variety of education and experience that all blend together to help fulfill his passion for massage, complementary healing therapies and wellness in general.
